Birthday Ideas for Tots

We are excited about our birthday gift suggestions for little tots!  We love things that inspire those little minds full of fun and creativity. Read on for great ideas for children between the ages of 2 and 6.

The Art Master Activity Desk by Step 2 ($79.99) is perfect for preschoolers and kindergartners.  This desk adds fun to learning and encourages creativity. Our tots have had such a blast writing numbers and letters on the dry erase board, and are able to store all their art tools in one place (not to mention all the activity and coloring books).

The Bitty Baby ($45) by American Girl comes in 5 different skin tones, hair colors and eye colors.  There are not only additional outfits you can purchase for the doll, there are coordinating outfits that range in size from 3 to 7.

The Home & Garden Playhouse ($159.99) by Little Tikes makes a nice addition to any little one's play area.  The playhouse is small enough that it can even be kept indoors without taking up too much space.  The playhouse includes a work area and tools, a sand and water planting area, and a little kitchen area.

The Picnic Table & Umbrella ($89.99), also by Little Tikes has seating that can hold 4 to 6 children comfortably.  The umbrella is a great add-on to help shade your little one's from the sun and keep them cool.  The picnic table folds up quickly and compactly for easy storage when not in use.

We would also like to mention that Little Tikes is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year!!  Little Tikes has been making top quality toys since 1970.  Little Tikes should be proud of their achievement, being one of the top multi-national toy makers!

For the little mommy's and daddy's out there that love to play house, the Oppenheim 2009 award winning Little People Happy Sounds Home ($40) by Fisher Price is an excellent choice!  Let them explore all about the home, while the door bell says "ding-dong", the toilet "flushes", the washing machine goes "swish swish", and the telephone rings.
